Leaning on themes of materialism and sentimentality, Sentiments examines the worth we put on objects in our every day lives. To acquire this collection of images, I sent out a request for people to take a picture of an object that they hold great admiration for and then to send me that image. I then compiled each image into a number of collages which can be seen below. While each object is stripped from its sentimental context, the viewer is able to assume meaning by the way in which each object was photographed by its owner.
