5 Random Things I Bought on Amazon that Have Made Quarantine a Little Better

So I’m fully aware that y’all don’t care what my Amazon order history looks like… but I’m also fully aware that I haven’t written a blog post since June (!?!?!) so I’m due for one. So it got me thinking - what’s one thing that we all have in common right now? We’re all buying random stuff on Amazon. Whether it’s not wanting to go shopping in-store, home projects we’ve decided to take on, or just plain boredom - we all have Amazon on our Recently Visited sites.

I’ve spent my fair share on there too, and I thought I’d share some random buys that I actually, genuinely really like! Read more below:

  1. some really really comfy slippers

It goes without saying that we’re all trying to be as comfy as possible right about now. And with winter coming, we’re going to need to be warm too. These slippers are perfect! Memory foam soles, cozy fur, and rubber bottoms so you can run outside if you need to. These are the best slippers I’ve ever owned, can’t take them off!

  2. a * high-tech * electric toothbrush

Okay, so you’ve seen all those commercials where they say “this toothbrush is #1 dentist recommended” or “this toothpaste is #1 dentist recommended” and yada, yada, yada. I thought that was a load of crap until I finally spent a bit of money on an electric toothbrush… Guys, this thing is WILD! I used it the first time and it legitimately felt like I had just left the dentists office. My mouth felt so good and my teeth felt cleaner than they’ve ever felt after brushing (which was actually kind of worrisome).

  3. Exfoliating gloves

I’m prone to getting little ingrown hairs on my legs (curly girl problems) and these have helped with that SO much! They’re also great at removing dead skin. My skin has never felt so soft or healthy!! I got the coarse ones because that’s what my skin needs, but they come in softer versions too.

  4. A big shower head

I’ve noticed that when I’m in the shower, I’m crunching my body together to try to get every part of me under the hot water at once. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t work. I’ve been searching for a nicer showerhead but they’re pretty expensive. With all this free time, I spent quite a few hours reading Amazon reviews and found this one! 30 bucks and works like a charm!

  5. one of those workout balls

We’re all sitting all day long. At the kitchen table, at our make-shift desk, then on the couch, and then in bed. Then repeat. I bought one of these on sale for $10 and it was way worth it. Makes my conference calls MUCH more interesting. My cat hates it. I love it.

That’s all for now! If you’ve bought anything that you love recently, let me know in the comments.
