If you know me, you know I hate most things about the ‘80s… The fluorescent colors, massive frizzy hair, SEQUINS (ooh god I hate sequins), sparkles, crazy colorful makeup, and the list goes on…. One thing that came out of the ‘80s that I’m not mad at is the over-sized blazer.

I would say that most people see blazers as a piece of clothing that you only wear when you’re interviewing. Or trying to impress someone) but I say NO! A blazer is a perfect way to elevate a look and keep you warm. It’s a very cool-girl way to say “I take myself seriously and I care about how I look, but I’m also not just part of a corporate machine”

When I go into a thrift store, I easily come across at least 15 (usually way more) of these ‘80s style over-sized blazers in a million different sizes, colors, and fabrics. They’re everywhere, and usually pretty cheap - which means… it won’t be hard for you to find one either! In this following post, I show you how I took one thrifted blazer and wore it 5 ways. It doesn’t have to be a one-outfit piece!

Let’s Dive into the looks!
