My Favorite Finds for Your Kitchen

I don’t know about you guys, but one of my “new year’s resolutions” is to spend more time in the kitchen, making things that are GOOD for me. (and let’s be real, to learn how to actually cook…) I’ve also been watching a lot of TikToks with very cool kitchen gadgets - so I figured I’d share a few that I’ve found with you guys!

1. A Bamboo Cutting Board with Containers - $48

I mean this might be one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. It’s a cutting board, but there’s a little slot cut in the side so you can scoot all your cut veggies into a plastic bin. Then, you can take the bin out and replace it with an empty one for your next cut!

2. Some Fridge Bin Liners - $8

The packaging on this one looks like it’s from the 70s but I’ll tell you that these things have been great for my fridge! My veggies and fruits have stayed fresher for longer and they catch any weird spills so I don’t have to spend hours scraping crap off my shelves/bins

3. An Ice Cream Scoop Set - $17

Okay I used to hate these kinds of ice cream scoops. Personally, I’m partial to a paddle over a scoop. BUT - I was making a ton of banana nut muffins over quarantine and I found that these things are optimal for scooping out muffins. Consistent sizing and minimal mess - 10/10.

4. Reusable Muffin Cups - $17

I can’t believe I ever used paper baking cups now that I know these exist. Just get them - you will not regret it.

5. Stackable Cooling Racks - $14

So cooling racks are actually dope. The bottoms of your bakes don’t get soggy and you get an even cool so you can eat them faster! I really like these because they fold up for easy storage and they can stack - do they take up minimal space with maximum coolage.

6. Sink Mat - $10

This is super nice to protect your plates and dishes and nice glassware! I also like it because it lifts the dishes up a little bit from the bottom of the sink so there’s a bit of air flow.

7. Dish Squeegee - $7

Seems kind of pricey for a dish tool, but this thing rocks. I personally don’t use it for dishes - but I use it to get every last bit of brownie batter out of the mixing bowl. My spatulas can obviously do that, but this is much bigger so it gets the job done quicker.

8. A Good Looking Spice Rack - $43

Want to look like you have your shit together? Get one of these nice wood spice racks. Or really ball out and get this $140 one.

9. Over-The-oven Rack - $42

Don’t have the counter space for the nice wood spice rack above? Try a floating shelf to hang above your oven. I like the one to the right because it’s super minimal, but if you’d like a cheaper option with a bar in the front, try this one.

10. Food Chopper - $30

The ultimate way to get around your disdain for meal prep. This thing cuts down prep time SO MUCH.
